FAQS

  • What are the benefits of waxing versus shaving?
Not only does waxing last longer, but the hair grows in less coarse and thick. Waxing pulls the hair from the follicle making it harder to grow back. Waxing can also be better for sensitive skin. Other benefits of waxing include overall skin health since waxing is a form of physical exfoliation. Also, your skin will be smoother with minimal irritation. On the other hand, shaving cuts the hair only at the surface and can be very damaging overtime.
  • What are the proper aftercare instructions post waxing? Please see below:
  • How long should my hair be to get a wax? How long will the wax last?
You'll get the best results if you let the hair grow to about ¼ inch so the wax can fully grab the hair. I always suggest three weeks of hair growth to get the best results if you are new to waxing. If you have recently received a wax then this rule does not apply. The wax results will last between 4-5 weeks but everyone’s rate of regrowth is different, so results will vary between guests. But remember, with the proper aftercare you will gain the best results. Please see Aftercare Instructions FAQs.
  • Can I wax if I'm having my menstrual cycle?
Sure, we can absolutely wax you if it's that time of the month. But do keep in mind that the area will be more prone to sensitivity and you may experience more discomfort than usual. In order to successfully complete the service, you will need to wear a tampon. To avoid any discomfort I always suggest to use a cycle tracking app.
  • What is the difference between a Bikini Wax and a Brazilian Wax?
Bikini line is a very simple service. We wax the sides (called your panty line) and across the top. If you’re wearing a bikini, this will prevent any hairs from "peeking out." Brazilian Wax goes from the front all the way to the back with an added butt strip. This is perfect for a completely nude look. Choose whatever style you desire!
  • What is the cancellation and lateness policy?
All appointments may be rescheduled 48 hours prior to without penalty. Appointments can be moved one time as a courtesy. If the appointment is not cancelled prior to 48 hours it is considered a last minute cancellation and subject to a $25 cancellation fee. Please try to be on time for appointments. There is a 8 minute lateness grace period that will allow me to service every guest in a timely fashion.
