Meet Ciara
Owner of CiBeauté / Licensed Esthetician
My name is Ciara Starks, and I am the proud owner of CiBeaute Esthetics, a private luxury esthetics salon located in Philadelphia.
Established in 2019, CiBeauté Esthetics embodies the philosophy of "where beauty meets exclusivity." My journey into the world of aesthetics happened long before I anticipated, shaped by my struggle with cystic acne since a teen. It was the care provided by my esthetician that not only transformed my skin but also elevated my self-confidence and self-esteem. This experience fueled a passion within me to pay forward the gift of radiant skin to others, ultimately leading to the creation of CiBeaute Esthetics many years later.
Embarking on this new esthetics career was no small task, particularly as I am a full-time parent to my son. Juggling full-time work, evening classes at beauty school, and arranging multiple caregivers was a testament to my dedication. I sought a career that not only fulfilled my passion but also allowed me to prioritize my family—the journey of a mompreneur. In 2022, I expanded my vision with the launch of CiBeauté Essentials, a curated product line featuring handcrafted soaps, artisan mugs, body care essentials, and more. With each product, my mission remains steadfast: to elevate their self-care rituals through exceptional products. Over the past year, I've had the privilege of leading educational demonstrations and empowering fellow estheticians with proper techniques and industry insights. Being an esthetician is not just a profession but a dream realized—a reality that still is unbelievable to me some days. Each day, I am reminded that with belief and diligent effort, all things are possible. Always remember, no matter how long it may take you to achieve your dream, anything is possible!
